Rev. Jakob Hero-Shaw

Rev. Jakob Hero-Shaw is the Senior Pastor of the Metropolitan Community Church of Tampa. He is the coordinator of the Transgender Roundtable at the Center for LGBTQ and Gender Studies and a faculty member of the Trans Seminarian Leadership Cohort. Jakob previously worked as a chaplain, in a large level-one trauma center, primarily focusing on palliative care. He lives in Tampa, Florida, with his husband, Allan, and their two kids.
