This CLGS African American Roundtable workshop explored the theological and practical foundations of holy resistance to systems of oppression.
Participants learned how and why people of faith need to challenge empire, and we considered various tools to organize in our communities in order to abolish and disrupt systems of oppression.
Through scripture, history, and actionable strategies, we strategized about how we might become bolder and more effective leaders in our own communities.
