International Pronouns Day (IPD) is celebrated every year on the third Wednesday in October (16 October 2024 this year) and it offers faith communities an important opportunities to raise awareness of the importance of respecting each person’s chosen pronouns. For genderqueer, Transgender, and gender non-conforming persons, being referred to by their correct pronouns is basic to their human dignity, as it is for everyone.
