This CLGS Transgender Roundtable interactive workshop empowers religious leaders, both lay and ordained, to move beyond the concept of “trans inclusion” and into a mindset of holistic affirmation for trans, nonbinary, and genderqueer people in your religious community.
Explore with us the barriers to affirmation and the downfalls of the concept of inclusion. We also discuss methods for affirmation that invite community-wide transformation for cisgender and transgender participants in your community.
