Rabbi Julie Greenberg has been a queer activist for fifty years.  She is one of the first out lesbians admitted to rabbinical seminary, and has been an organizer in our community on many different justice issues in different cities throughout the country.  Please join us as she recounts inspirational and sometimes humorous stories from many different Pride rituals and celebrations

Rabbi Julie Greenberg was ordained by the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 1989. She has served as part-time rabbi for Leyv Ha-Ir since 2001. She has a strong commitment to building caring communities as a way to heal the world.

Rabbi Greenberg is also a therapist trained by the Council for Relationships, specializing in interfaith issues, family dynamics, and spiritual development. She works with individuals, couples, and families in her Counseling with Soul practice and is an active leader of POWER Interfaith, a Pennsylvania interfaith organization committed to racial and economic justice on a livable planet.

She has published widely on many topics relating to spirituality and family life and is the mother of five children.
