Many of us are tired of surviving spaces where we cannot be our full, authentic, and queer selves.
The freedom to live openly and honestly is harder for some of us than others, and that weight adds up.
So, before The Ember Gathering starts on Friday, 27 October 2026, The CLGS African American Roundtable is curating a Sacred Black Lounge Experience for folks from diaspora coming to ember who need exactly that—a space to rest, exhale, and be seen without performance.
This gathering is an intentional offering of softness, safety, and connection for those who are often asked to carry too much alone. It is a place to arrive as you are, be held in care, in dignity, and in belonging.
We start with a catered lunch, so please RSVP!
