An original play by Harry Cronin about the impact of the ministry of Father Mychal Judge, NY Fire Department chaplain and the first reported death on 9/11. A poignant look at the intersections of recovery and identity. Directed by Christopher P. Kelly and performed by John Trancatella.

Followed by a panel discussion on recovery, sexual orientation, and spirituality.

Father Mychal Judge became a fire department chaplain in 1992 — and he liked to join company drills. One retired fireman recalls, “I could picture him, chopping down a door with an axe. He would love to do that, too.”
