Join us for a special CLGS Lavender Lunch as we kick off the spirit and vision of the upcoming CLGS Souls A’ Fire 2026 Conference with an intimate and insightful conversation between the event’s co-conveners. This pre-conference gathering offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from the visionary leaders shaping this dynamic gathering of Black LGBTQ+ faith-rooted scholars, activists, and artists.
Together, they will reflect on the evolving legacy of Souls A’ Fire, share the themes and goals guiding the 2026 convening, and explore how Black queer and trans theologies are responding to the urgency of this moment. This moderated dialogue will lift up the spiritual, intellectual, and communal labor behind the scenes—and invite participants into the sacred work of collective dreaming, resistance, and liberation.
Whether you’re a longtime member of the Souls A’ Fire community or curious about joining for the first time, this Lavender Lunch is the perfect space to ground, connect, and prepare our hearts for what’s to come.
