On the weekend of October 15-18, Queer Clergy from around the country gathered in Portland, OR to engage the prodigious talents and prophetic voices of seasoned leaders in exploring ways activate faith communities in the Black Lives Matter movement. The goal of the convening was to “chart a clear path to activate hundreds of thousands of LGBTQ people of faith, helping propel success on what is one of the most critical movements of our time.” Roland Stringfellow, CLGS’ African American Roundtable Coordinator, preached and participated in workshops and actions in the weekend of activities. We’d like to share this footage from the Black Live Matter Rally in downtown Portland, OR on October 18 with CLGS followers.
