In this CLGS Lavender Lunch, Rev. Jim Mitulski and Dr. Bernie Schlager invite you to join them (in person or online) for a pilgrimage through The MCC Hymnal (1989), a landmark inclusive-language hymnal that has served grassroots queer religious communities around the world.

At the heart of MiGen are shared values of authenticity, mutual well-being, and belonging. These principles guide this work, both internally and externally, ensuring LGBTQ+ older adults are supported, respected, and able to age with dignity

What erupts when extraordinary stories rise from the ashes of war, migration, and survival? In this CLGS Lavender Lunch, we welcome PSR alum Rev. Rhina Mercedes Ramos to discuss her powerful memoir.
Originally written in Spanish and published in El Salvador in 2024, and now available in an English translation by David Vine, this memoir in vignettes offers more than one woman’s testimony. It is a collection of “extraordinary stories of ordinary people,” Salvadorans who survived the destiny of violence and war, women who liberate themselves from abuse and lift up other women, and the haunting, hopeful memories of a young girl that inspire resolve and triumph.
