CLGS is proud to announce that PSR Professor Ish Ruíz, PhD, has been appointed Director of the CLGS Catholic Roundtable, the newest of our Roundtable projects.

As he assumes the leadership of this Roundtable, Professor Ruíz writes:

“I envision a Church and a world that cherishes the diversity of gifts people of all sexual identities bring to our communities. I am eager to continue engaging in conversations about Catholic LGBTQ+ inclusion and to help move our Church forward on its mission to proclaim the Gospel.

These are exciting times in the Catholic Church, and I pray that our new Pope, along with Catholic leaders in the US and the world, continue to live into the fullness of God’s promise of radical love and inclusion for all.”
